DORA SIGRID HILL
Born: Jul 18, 1925
Date of Passing: Jan 21, 2013
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORA SIGRID HILL July 18, 1925 - January 21, 2013 The family of Dora Hill sadly announces her passing at home at the age of 87. Mom slipped away to be with her beloved family and friends who predeceased her. She is now with our Dad. Mourning her loss are her children Ray (Dorothy), Kathy, John (Carla), Wes (Sue), David and her brother Brian (Joan). Mom leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Even though the last few years were a hardship for her, she loved her life and did not give up, but she knew it was time for the Lord to take her home. She was a kind and gentle person; loving all equally and never judging. Although our hearts are broken, we know she has achieved the peace she prayed for. Thanks to all for your kindness and you know who you are, but especially to Sylvia and John Hurma. Sylvia, Mom's last words to me were that you are a good girl and it is so true. Donations in Dora's name may be made to a charity of one's choice. A come go celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 537A St. Anne's Rd. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you, and whispered Come to Me . With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. We love you Mom

The Hill family and the Wocks family have many fond memories together. My memory of Mrs. Hill, is one of always smiling!! Her smile made one feel welcome, and that she cared for you. She and Jean, (my Mom) were the best of friends, and Kathy (her daughter) and me were best friends. I was so glad to have been able to go and visit her when I was last in Winnipeg. My thoughts and prayers are with her children at this time. I know that she is not in pain and discomfort anymore, she is happy. There will be a big void as she is not here for you to talk to, give her a hug, and care for her. I pray that this void will draw you all together. Blessings to you. - Posted by: Judy Harder (Dear Friends) on: Jan 26, 2013
