  • Dear Albert: to hear that you have passed on, and now in a better place with no pain, is definitely a blessing. Getting to know you, when I was working as a tenant companion, at the Dogwood House, was an absolute pleasure. I will remember you for your witty comments, spunkiness, jokes and laughter!! You always had the most wonderful bright smile, and taught me so much about the human spirit, being thankful for what you have, and treating others with respect at all times. My thoughts are with Doreen and Lorraine, and family during this very difficult time. Good memories always when I think of Albert. Rest in peace! - Posted by: Vicki Salmon (tenant companion of Albert - Dogwood House) on: Jan 30, 2013

  • I remember my Great Uncle Albert with fond memories. Most of all I recall his wonderful sense of humour. He always had something funny to say or kind words that would make you feel special. Uncle Albert had a cabin next door to my dad's growing up and I have so many great memories to cherish. I will have these memories forever. I am grateful to have had this special person in my life. Lorraine, Doreen and family know that he was loved by many. I will miss him always. Love Diana - Posted by: Diana Cheys (Great Niece) on: Jan 30, 2013

  • Though it has been awhile since I have seen Albert at the Club, it is sad that many of our more senior and loyal members are leaving us. It was always enjoyable to spend time at the Club with Albert. He has been missed. He has more than paid his dues and after a long fulfilled life he deserves the best. To Albert's family May God Bless you at this difficult time. May God grant you all the strength you need. My deepest sympathy. Since I will not be able to attend the service, my thoughts and prayers are with you. • My heart goes out to Doreen, Lorraine and their families. I share deeply in the loss of our dear "Alberto" (as I used to call him)Albert was a true gentleman with a devillish glint in his eyes, quick witted and always very kind and grateful for anything I would do to help him. I will always treasure my memories with him from the "Doghouse", he always brightened my day and gave me purpose. I rejoice in his ever-after being one of painfree bliss. I know he will be at peace for he earned it during his short life on earth. It was my privilege to have been a small part of his life. - Posted by: June Cooper (tenant companion of Albert) on: Jan 30, 2013
