Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWAYNE DAVID PALAHITSKI It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne David Palahitski, 59 years, on Saturday, January 26, 2013 after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. A loving husband and an amazing father and grandfather, left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Helen, son Wayne and wife Christine, daughter Sherry-Lynn, his grandson Angel and granddaughter Jamee; as well as his mother Jean, brothers Garry (April) and Douglas (Patricia) and sister Linda (Gerry), as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his beloved father Matthew Palahitski and his brother Mark Palahitski. Wayne was born and raised in Winnipeg. He enjoyed working as a power engineer at Border Chemicals, and then later enjoyed working in sprinkler fitting at Palace Sprinkler with his brother Garry and later on pipe fitting. He spent much of his time in Teulon where he loved the country life and was passionate about farming. He is greatly known for his colourful character and charming sense of humour. His incredibly kind and generous nature will live on within all the lives he touched. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Loudon and his staff and to all our friends and family for their love and support. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon (#7 Highway); Mr. Bud Glover officiating; Interment to follow at Zbruch Cemetery.
