HORVATH September 5, 1934 - January 26, 2013 John will be sadly missed by wife Jo-Anne, brother George (Pat), sister Lily (Dennis), John's four children and many family and friends. God has gained a great fishing / hunting partner. As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral.

I had the pleasure of working with John for many years prior to his retirement from the Manitoba Government. I also enjoyed catching fish at his cabin in Breezy Point as well as the tall tales that go along with fishing. I'm so sorry to learn of John's passing. John was working at Care Services when I started with the department in 1972. He was one of the fun and cherished memories within the Social Allowance offices...and he was one darn good bridge player as my mom and I were quick to learn.
