OLGA WOROBEC April 12, 1916 - February 2, 2013 On Saturday morning, February 2, 2013, just two months before reaching her 97th birthday, Olga Worobec passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital, after a brief illness. Olga Worobec was predeceased by her husband Michael and by her son Roman. She is survived by daughter Tatiana (Raymond), daughter-in-law Christine, grandchildren Nathalie, Stephan and Lida, great-grandson Nicholai, and by relatives living in Ontario, England and Ukraine. The family of Olga Worobec wishes to express its most grateful appreciation to the staff of St. Joseph's Residence for their excellent care, sensitivity and kindness shown to her during the eight years of her stay. A sincere thank you to the staff at Unit 3, 5th floor, Seven Oaks Hospital for making her as comfortable as possible during the last days of her life. A special expression of gratitude is extended to friends Donna, Gordon, Michelle and René who were ever present, compassionate and most helpful to the family in every way. Divine Liturgy in Baba's memory will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Basil's Church, 202 Harcourt, with Father Walter Klimchuk and Deacon Gordon Mendres officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's own choice. Thank you to the Korban Funeral Chapel which is in charge of arrangements. Vichnaya Pamyat Babussi! She will be greatly missed.

  • Mama was well and caringly taken of by the home she was in. Tanya, I hope you realize what wise decisions you made for your Mum. She was very fortunate to have had such a fabulous daughter.
