DORIS VAN RYCKEGHEM Peacefully, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Doris Van Ryckeghem on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the age of 83 at the Victoria General Hospital. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her children Brian (Elaine), Donny (Joanne), Lisa (Lyle), Cathy (Ralph), as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. Doris is predeceased by her husband Gerry, and great-granddaughter Amanda. We would like to thank the management and staff on the 4th Floor at the Poseidon Care Home. A service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba.   • I've always held a special place in my heart for your mom (my aunt and Godmother). I hold fond memories of those great summers at the lake where the extended families would gather at your mom and dad's cabin and how much fun we had there as kids! I can still remember your mom's great infectious laugh, and tell-it-like-it is personality - I loved that about her, it made her unique, real and lots of fun. Sorry we couldn't be at the funeral today, all of you were in our thoughts and prayers, and we are deeply sorry for your loss.
