  • Our deepest sympathy to the Bergen family on the passing of their dear father & grandfather. Walter and my dad were long time co - workers at Dominion Tanners. I'd like to think that all the old timers that have gone on before are welcoming Walter. Talk about history, Walter took our first formal baby portraits (Lynda & Larry Carlson), our wedding photos (1977 & 1978) and attended my parents 50th wedding anniversary (2002)with a camera in hand. We treasure the images he captured - a single moment in time done with a creative eye. - Posted by: Ollie Carlson & Lynda Ruban (long time acquaintance) on: Feb 25, 2013

  • I ran into Walter in the mutual waiting room of our doctors' office, last July, I believe it was. The memories flooded back, as he had been a co-worker of my ex-husband's at Dominion Tanners. We all had shared many a banquet & company picnic together. Walter was the photographer at my wedding, that of my sister's, and a cousin's. As well, Walter took my son's first baby portrait, and in later years, one of him with his father together - a surprise Christmas present for me. Walter will always remain a good memory for me, as he was present at many of my life's milestones. My sincere sorrow to the family on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. - Posted by: Linda Henderson (long time acquaintance) on: Feb 25, 2013
