Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE (ANN) BENDER (nee KOZAK) Peacefully on February 27, 2013, Annie Bender passed away at the age of 97 years. Annie leaves to mourn her passing sons Rick (Dianne), Larry (Elaine), Brian (Bernice) and daughter Sharon (Dave Leochko), eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, sister Nellie Pachkowski and numerous family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Emmanuel, parents Peter and Pearl, brother Mike and sisters Helen Hadaway and Mary Olsen. In lieu of flowers, private donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Association and Lung Association. Memorial service 10:00 a.m., Thursday March 7, 2013, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street with reception following and committal at Brookside Cemetery. My Aunt Flo called to tell me about Mrs. Bender's passing. I was so very sorry to hear it. I remember her as a wonderful next door neighbour growing up, and my mother's (Kathy) best friend.
