JUDITH GULLASON Judith Marie Beatrice Gullason, 59, of Winnipeg, MB passed away unexpectedly in her home on March 4, 2013. Judy was born November 28, 1953 and was raised in Spiritwood, SK. She is survived by son Gary Halcro, daughter Jacqueline Halcro and stepdaughter Tara Dubecki, sister Blanche Phipps, brothers Mathias Gagne and Désiré Gagne and many loving friends and family members. She is predeceased in 2007 by husband Kenneth Gullason. Judy has been a member of the Sir Sam Steele branch of the Canadian Legion for many years, and has spent two summers volunteering at the Legion Athletic Camp in the US. In addition to raising her own children, Judy gave her love and efforts to helping numerous children in foster care. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending hours outdoors in her garden. Judy really loved weekly darts with her dart league, and getting together with friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg with viewing prior to the service.

  • am so sorry for this great loss of a good person. i met her a few times but we traveledd and talked. she made me laff and felt good in my heart. we shard a few life storys and am grateful that i had her to talk to at the rite time. she made me laff and felt comfy and when she had to stop working with me they told me that she just didn't want to leave me like that but to call for coffe and to talk and when ever i needed sum one. and we had a trip planned for this month on the 22 and i couldn't wait to travel with her talk with her cause i know it would be a good road trip with her, but when i found i didnt want to belive it. i calld her phone and got no answer. i felt a bit alone but my heart smiles cause i know she with her son now. she talkd about and i heard the love her voice for him and she missed him dearly. but she with him now and needed in heaven she did her work here on earth. i remember telling her we needed more people like her on this earth ..she will be missed even the little time we had still meant so much too me ..thank u judith .xxxx - Posted by: jewelz (friend) on: Mar 20, 2013
