VICTORIA ELIZABETH HOFFMAN (nee WANEK) Peacefully we announce the death of Victoria Hoffman on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the age of 86 at the Victoria Hospital. She was a "crafty" person who published her own book Explosive New Ideas in Plastics and along with this, she produced her own television show on Prairie Public Channel 13, which was called Simple Crafts for Young and Old. She was a devoted Catholic and a lover of Christ. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Nelson (Katherine), Jewel (Virendra), and Carlyle; grandchildren Rahul, Rebecca (Alan), and James; great-grandchildren Nalini and Nahia; sister Geraldine; nephews Carlyle (Gina), son Michael and Miles (Carol); and niece Bendikte. She is predeceased by Bernadette Hoffman, Martin Frank Hoffman by 34 years and brother Ted. An order of burial will commence at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church. A service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 405 Watt Street. An interment will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy #1 East at Navin Road. Donations may be made in Victoria's memory to Iconostas Fund, Window Fund, Holy Spirit Seminary or Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Church Parish.
