JOYCE YVONNE RUPERT On March 14, 2013 at 73 years of age after a lengthy illness, Joyce gave up her struggle here to be with the departed she loved. She will be fondly remembered by relatives and friends. Underneath her tell-it-like-it-is exterior was a compassionate person. She was an old school girl who knew how to make a small room shack feel cozy and inviting with a woman's presence. She was a good listener and had a good sense of humour. Joyce loved animals and also could be a party animal. If she saw an animal mistreated, she would try to set things right as she saw it. She was predeceased by her parents Katherine and Frank, brothers Oliver, Roy, Wesley, Cyril and Donny, sisters May and Merle, daughter Mae-Lyn and son Hank. Left to mourn her passing are sisters Judy and Roberta, brother Earl, and her best friend Raymond Parisian, along with many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration and remembrance of Joyce's life will be held Thursday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy. "I thank God for your gift of laughter and your gentle spirit." - Raymond

Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • All my love to you Auntie until I get to see you in Heaven. I'm so glad I got to talk to you for those last few months of your life after a lifetime of searching for each other. I kept in touch for a while with Raymond but he was too sad and I stopped writing him. May you be at peace and keep things in order until I get there. Your loving niece, Kathleen Lucia Rupert. - Posted by: Kathleen Lucia Rupert (Niece) on: Dec 16, 2018
