Dueck, 92, and Esther Dueck (nee Kornelson), 88 formerly of Rosenort, MB passed away together in Winnipeg on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 after 64 years of marriage. They are survived by six daughters, two sons and their families. They were predeceased by one son in infancy. Viewing will be held at the Fort Garry EMC, 602 Pasadena Ave., Winnipeg on Monday, April 8 at 7:00 p.m. with a memory service at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosenort Evangelical Mennonite Church with interment at the church cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9 Longer obituary will appear in Saturday's edition of the Free Press. So sorry to hear of the loss of both Dave and Ester. I lived next door to them on Parkin in Charleswood. They were a great couple and I shared some time and laughs with them both...especially the time they left the pot on the stove and the firefighters had to get in through the bathroom window to extinguish the fire.
