GERALD DONALD TRAYTURIK April 8, 1939 - April 8, 2013 Surrounded by his family, on his 74th birthday, Gerry passed away peacefully on April 8, 2013 at the Grace Hospital. Gerry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret and four daughters: Kim (Craig) Lindquist and children Jana (Justin) and Jered (Sarah); Kelly (Scott) Bryll and children Carter and Kaden; Gwen (Kevin) Coughlin and children Carly, Austin, Jayden and Shea; and Allison Caron and children Shawn and Skylar, as well as many other extended family and friends. In his early years, Gerry worked as a Stationary Engineer and then moved on to own and operate his own successful business in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. Gerry was able to retire early in his life and went on to discover the world of computers and satellite hardware and kept very busy building and repairing them. Gerry was a hardworking and determined man who looked at difficult tasks as another new challenge. There was no job he would not tackle. A celebration of Gerry's life will take place on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing prior to the service at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church at 821 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
