ANDRZEJ (ANDY) LIS Peacefully, in his sleep, Andy passed away on May 3, 2013 at the age of 61. Andy was born in Poland on November 10, 1951. He was predeceased by his parents Michal and Stanislawa. Andy will be forever missed by his daughters Chantel (Irney) and Amber; grandchildren, Daegan, Shayna and Roxton; brother Ben (Diane); sisters Ursula (Gordon), Margaret (Gerard) and Jadwiga (Ray); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193

  • Andy It is with much sadness and heaviness in our hearts that we write these words to our brother and uncle Andy. As we all prepare in our own way to let you go Andy, we know in our hearts that you will always be with us. You leave behind a gift that is most precious. Anyone who has known you casually or intimately, known you as a brother, father or uncle, known you as a friend, co-worker or passerby along the street, have undoubtedly experienced one and the same thing,-your Joyous and Open Heart, reflected in your ever-present happy demeanor. As memories rise within each of us, we will weep and cry, smile and laugh, our grief will ebb and flow, and in doing so you will continue to remain with each of us. As we sit with heavy hearts and recollection of days gone by Andy, we feel comforted that you are with us and always will be.   • Only met Andy a couple of times but liked him immediately. I had a great time dancing with him and trying to learn his dance steps. Only wish I would have had more time to get to know him.
