Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySANDRA ATKINSON (nee BRESCH) Sandra Atkinson passed away at Beausejour Hospital, May 12, 2013 after battling cancer for two years. She was born March 2, 1943 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Norman Atkinson. They were together for 51 wonderful years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Bonnie (Harry), David (Tracy), Susan (Richard) and Leigh (Sean). She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Mandy (Kyle), Rebecca, Bailey, Jesse, Justin, Ryan and Emily, as well as her great-grandchildren Owen and Liam. Mom is survived by her sisters, Sharon, Diane and Debbie as well as brothers, Ron and Doug. Sandy will be missed by her beloved pet, Oscar. Mom spent many very dedicated years providing excellent food to the people of Beausejour at the Copperpot. Mom valued the simple things in life. Special thanks to Mom's dear friends: Helen, Carol, Linda, Inger, Karen, Marg, Randy, Rhea and Elaine. Thank you for being there in Mom's time of need. The family would also like to thank Dr. Campbell and the Beausejour Hospital staff for taking such wonderful care of our Mom and showing such compassion during our difficult time. As per Sandy's wishes a private family gathering with close friends and immediate family has taken place.
