Our mom Emi and Klaus shared 65 wonderful years together. Klaus will be so sadly missed by his daughters Roswitha and Brigitte, and grandsons John, Max and Jesse who he was so proud of. The family would like to thank the incredible doctors and nurses in the I.C.U. that took such wonderful care of our dad. A celebration of his life will be held with family and friends in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation., Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.

Klaus, my Opa, was a wonderfully kind and caring man. Although we weren't related by blood, you would never have known as he always treated me with the same unconditional love and familial devotion shown readily to his own children and grandchildren. It saddens me greatly that I was not around more in recent years, having moved my life to Montreal so long ago, but I take solace in the fact that whenever we saw one another in Winnipeg it was a happy reunion and he made it feel like no time had passed. I love and respect him dearly and am grateful to have so many happy memories of the times we shared together as a family. Goodbye Opa. I love you, you'll be in my thoughts always. - Posted by: John Percival (Grandson) on: May 27, 2013

My heart goes out to Emi Brigitte and Rosewitha and Mr. Graeffs grandchildren. I hope they can find peace at such a time and that the mornings will start to look brighter. My thoughts and prayers are with them. - Posted by: Kathy Hill (Friend of Brigitte and Rosewitha) on: May 25, 2013
