Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRI (HENRY) LOUIS JOSEPH GAUTHIER Peacefully Henry passed away on June 2, 2013. He was born on May 5, 1937 in St. Boniface. Henry married his beloved wife Evelyne (Gayet) in 1964 and they settled in Windsor Park where they raised their family. As a young man, Henry worked for T. Eaton Co. where he stayed for 21 years. He then went on to work for the St. Boniface School Division for 24 years as a head custodian. Dad enjoyed working outdoors and he and mom enjoyed spending time at the lake in St. Laurent. They also enjoyed travelling, especially to his favourite spot' in Hawaii. Henry will be remembered by his wife of 49 years, Evelyne (Gayet), his daughter Paulette (Gary Huggins), his son Robert (Joanne) and his five little angels, granddaughters Gabrielle, Sara, Marissa (Huggins), and Alyssa and Cayla (Gauthier). He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Marianne (Bellavance) and his sister Alice (Desrochers). Dad will always be remembered for his sense of humour and his devotion to his family. He was always supportive and proud of his children and his granddaughters and he loved hearing about what the girls' were up to. Thank you to the friends who visited him often while he was in the hospital. Thank you also to the caring nurses, doctors and staff in the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care and support. Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, 8th Floor, St. Boniface Hospital, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 9Z9. Funeral service will be held from Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, Highway #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, MB on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. I remember the fun times we used to have when our children were young and we would all go to the threshermans reunion at Austin. My husband Al and Henry always enjoyed it so much.
