Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I sure missed the boat on getting this news. We lost another LacLu Icon. I loved chatting it up with Mr. Hall. My father Don and Ralph Howard were Abby's chums. All fishing pros and project managers in their own right. Good memories of Abby remain close at heart. I'll plant that Cedar Tree we talked about for Dad and you. Our sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Donna Wildfong (LacLu Friend) on: Feb 01, 2014

  • Our condolences on the loss of a man so special to so many people. Your dad is very much the fabric that is Laclu. I am sure a project was not done by my dad that "Abby" and Don Wildfong were not there to offer their opinion and expertise. Always good natured kidding and laughter. Loved my mom's blueberry pie. So hard to lose a parent and fond memories will sustain you. - Posted by: Georgina Howard / Gord Roberts (Lifetime third generation Laclu neighbours) on: Jun 05, 2013

  • We remember the happiness Mr. H got in filming our wedding in 1988. Lots of good times at Laclu. Fond memories. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Ross Ewbank & Family. (Long time friend of family) on: Jun 05, 2013

  • My condolences to Tommy, Bobbie and Noreen. As being good friends with my Dad since their very early childhood, I have wonderful memories of the many times "Abby" would coming "up the hill" to visit my parents at Laclu. Hope "Mr. Hall" and my Dad will have a geat card game once again! With bittersweet sorrow to acknowledge an end to an era. Bless you "Mr. Hall" - Posted by: Sandra Hall (Daughter of one his best friends Ralph Howard) on: Jun 05, 2013

  • I always enjoyed seeing you working in, and enjoying your yard! And Cordie and Lulu always loved the generous supply of biscuits you threw into the yard for them! Thank you for being such a great neighbour. - Posted by: Cathy (Neighbour) on: Jun 05, 2013

  • My sincere condolence to you, Noreen and your family. We worked together at the TB Clinic and still remember how kindly you spoke of your family. - Posted by: Emma (Peters) Elias (former co-worker of Noreen) on: Jun 05, 2013
