EDNA ADRIENNE ELLERT With sadness the family announces the passing of Edna Ellert on June 1, 2013 at Concordia Hospital at 79 years of age. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gus, and her mother Velma, both in June 2006. Edna is survived by her brother Bud (Barb), daughters Debra (Jim) and Donna (Randy), grandchildren Chris (Kristy), Kristy (Rob) and Michelle (Chris), along with great-grandchildren Grace, Ethan, Sadie, Logan and Maggie. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

Fondest memory is how Uncle Gus and Aunt Edna drove their White Cadillac all the way to Spruce Grove for my Wedding. They were so generous and allowed me to be driven to my wedding in their beautiful car and in style. They even allowed us to decorate it with "mint" green pom poms! It was hilarious as we drove down the highway and Uncle Gus kept slowing down to try and stop the pom poms from flying off the sides of the car! Aunt Edna just kept chuckling and telling me it would be alright and not to worry!
