• Hello grandma! Fast forward and it’s already been 10 years without you here with all of us. So much has happened since you’ve been gone. I am currently 22 years old now and have graduated not only from high school, but I have a degree now. As for mom & dad, they will celebrate 10 years of marriage next year and I’m so proud of them both. They are new home owners and they love each other so much. Rachel graduated high school a few years ago and is growing into an amazing young woman. I miss you granny, dearly and I know you would have loved to meet my boyfriend Dakota. We’ve been together for 7 years now and I tell him about you every once in a while. I tell him stories of how life use to be growing up with you around and it makes me miss you more. I hope you hug everyone up there for us that has passed on and one day I know I will see you all again. I love you granny, I’ll love you for the rest of my living days here on earth and many more after that. • Hey Granny, its been 3 years since you passed away and I've got to say I miss you so much. Of course I still think about you all the time, but life is very hard without you here. Without you here to make me laugh, smile and be happy. Oh yeah, school is doing great and I'm trying to be stronger for my family every single day. I try to be strong for you. I'm currently in Grade 9 and still trying to make you proud. I'm also in my 3rd year of cadets. Life granny sure in hell isn't a walk in the park. You always told me it would be hard. As life goes on for me it hurts to think that my kids will never get to meet their Great-Grandmother. It kills me knowing that you're no longer here, but I just remember that I need to be stronger, just like you were. Anyway, as my life goes on I hope that you're right beside me and you're always there to reassure me that it's okay to get upset and it's okay to live, but it's not okay to get mad and give up.
