Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGATHA HILDEBRAND July 31, 1925 - June 10, 2013 Peacefully, on June 10, 2013 our Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma Agatha Hildebrand, passed away to her eternal rest at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach, where she had lived for the past two and a half years. Mom was born on July 31, 1925 at Blumenthal Village, Altona area. She married our Dad, Cornelius E. Hildebrand on October 14, 1945; he predeceased her on July 7, 1998. She is lovingly remembered by her nine children and their families: Ruth (Rolly) Goudreau of Edmonton, AB, Darryl Peters (daughter Kristin), Todd and Andria Peters (Kennedy and Tory); Ernie (Lucille) Hildebrandt of Spruce Grove, AB, Michael (Sue) Hildebrandt; Dorothy (Werner) Braun of Winnipeg, MB, Jeffrey and Kristina Braun (Joanna and Adrian), Julie (Richard) Brodeur (David and Scott); Betty (Herb) Koop of Steinbach, MB, Ginny (Richard) Willis, (Haiden), Bryan Koop; Carol Hildebrand of Winnipeg, MB, Angie Froese (Elijah, Dakota), Bill (Pam) Sofroniuk; Sandi Plett of Thompson, MB, Kyle Rempel, Kara Rempel, Sydney Plett; Barb Hildebrand of Winnipeg, MB, Kelsi Bourgouin; Rick Hildebrand of Lloydminster, SK; Tim Hildebrand of Kamloops, BC, Adam and Nicole Hildebrand. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Teana (Cornie) Ginter of Steinbach, MB; brother Frank Friesen, Humboldt, SK; sisters-in-law Helena Penner of Sommerfeld Colony, Paraguay, SA and Eva Schroeder of Steinbach, MB; brothers-in-law Peter Hildebrand, and Henry Hildebrand of Steinbach, MB. She was predeceased her parents, Peter W. and Agnes Friesen; her parents-in-law Jacob P. and Anna Hildebrand; brother Peter Friesen, sisters-in-law Dorothy Friesen, and Judy Friesen, numerous in-laws of the Hildebrand family, and one grandson-in-law, Robbin Froese. There will be a visitation service on Thursday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m., with funeral service being held on Friday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. both at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB. Interment at the Mitchell CMC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
