JACK DOWNES On June 10, 2013 at The Grace Hospital, Jack Downes of Oakbank, Manitoba, peacefully passed away at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Evelyn, of 57 years. He leaves to mourn his sister June Roy; son Tim (Colleen); grandchildren Richard (Lacey) and Jeff (Holly); five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law, and many friends from his days in the military. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road.
