YVETTE MARIE THERESA CHAMBERS (nee PAQUETTE) Unexpectedly on Monday, June 17, 2013, Yvette passed away in Winnipeg, MB. Yvette is predeceased by her adoring and beloved husband John and her father Alphonse AKA Bud. She is survived, by her mother, Edna, her beloved daughter Angela (Jim), sisters Yvonne (Sang), Midge (Mark) and Yvele (Kevin), brother-in-law Jim (Linda) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by dear and life-long friends Sharon, Christine, Graham, and Tara. Yvette was born in Peterborough, ON on May 18, 1948. She enjoyed a successful and rewarding career working in a medical clinic serving her patients as if they were her own family for 30 years. She was also a 25 year member of the Elmwood Legion where she made many friends. Yvette enjoyed many years of travelling with John, enjoying road trips through Canada and the US. She recently ventured to Mexico, where she lived her dream of swimming with a dolphin! Just last week Yvette celebrated her Mother's 90th birthday, with the Sisterhood her Aunt Dorothy and daughter in Brampton. Yvette and John were enthusiastic entertainers and enjoyed many barbeques on the deck even on New Year's Eve, complete with patio lights, deck umbrella and coollies for your drinks. Yvette recently retired from Crossroads Medical Clinic and was looking forward to travelling to many destinations including a Caribbean cruise with Sharon. Yvette will be remembered for her unrelenting love for others, her ability to make everyone welcome and comfortable and her beautiful golden eyes and genuine smile. There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on Monday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity near and dear to your heart. Angela would like to thank the staff on WestJet flight 301 for their special and attentive care as well as a huge thank you to a very special woman who is now one of her girls .

Our deepest condolences to you Angela. My husband and I were patients of your dear mom. She was a real special lady and we will miss her her wonderful smile and very caring personality.
