  • Peggy was an absolute gem of a person. Kind, sincere and giving of herself in so many, many ways. She had an unbelievable impact on our young daughters growing up and many other children too. You only get to meet a few people as special as Peggy and Kathy, our girls and I feel very fortunate to have had her in our life. We are only hearing of this news today and extend our sincerest sympathies to George and the family. You will always be fondly remembered as an angel, dear Peggy. - Posted by: Kathy,Dale,Sarah & Allie Karasiuk (co-worker and family friend) on: Jul 18, 2013

  • Peggy, George you are like close family, living the moment with purpose and friendship, in sincere caring. Peggy will be missed, however, close in spirit. I take moments to reflect and cherish times spent together - the beekeeping, gardening and both your trohies, horticultural events and of course the living room chats and kitchen meals. The character and unique features of Peggy are a mosaic over time to which I have been blessed to be part of. Prayers and Blessings Your Beefriend (Cos) Ken Rowes, Anna Lee & Ryan - Posted by: Ken Rowes (Cosin - once rremoved) on: Jul 18, 2013

  • Peggy, what can I say? You enriched life in many ways. Camps and Teas and tons of guiding events and lunch at Nicks, the list goes on and on. I will treasure these memories forever. To George and the family, I can only imagine the sorrow you must be feeling. Treasure your memories of your dear mom/ wife, I will also. Rest in peace my dear friend! • Peggy's wonderful laugh, generous heart and so many talents are memories we will treasure forever. The times we spent in the garden, by the fish pond, watching the cats and the rescued kittens, and at the kitchen table where Peggy dished up the most delicious spaghetti with love and humour are a precious part of our lives. Our love and prayers go out to our friend and Peggy's dear husband George, to their children Grant and Michelle, and their beloved grandchildren.
