Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTYLER RUSSEL BEIRNES With heavy hearts, parents Russel and Margaret, and brother Lance (Jennifer, Martin, Lianne) are deeply saddened to announce the untimely passing of their loving son and brother Tyler Beirnes on July 16, 2013 in Athabasca, AB. Also mourning his loss are his two young sons, Tucker and Harlan, his wife Kirsten and her children Jade Oldfield, Nicholas Fraser, and Logyn Fraser. Tyler will be sadly missed by extended families of Lori Schroen and Larry Ward; an abundance of cousins, aunts, uncles; and a vast number of friends. Tyler was born in Winnipeg on July 17, 1974 and raised on a farm in the Stony Mountain area, surrounded by many of these relatives and lifelong friends. He and Grandpa Russel spent many happy hours together doing whatever Tyler wanted as a youngster. Theirs was a special bond! As he grew up, Tyler developed many skills related to all things mechanical which served him well on his farm in Athabasca. Tyler believed in go west young man, go west!" so after his son Tucker was born and with journeyman electricians' papers in hand, he moved his family to Alberta where he lived his dreams. His second son was born in Edmonton, and both his boys were a great source of pride. The boys will greatly miss his love and guidance. Tyler worked as an electrician in the oil sands on Bucyrus shovels, having worked his way to a supervisory position at Imperial Oils' Kearl mining project. We are all very proud of Tyler's successes and achievements! Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Stonewall, MB at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Equipment Fund Athabasca Health Care Centre, 3100 48th Ave, Athabasca, AB, T9S 1M9 in Tyler's memory.
