Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ISABEL CUTTS It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great- grandmother Mary Isabel Cutts. Mary passed away at the age of 91 on July 23, 2013. Mary was born in Cuckfield Hospital, Sussex, England on February 28, 1922. She was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur in 2002; her parents Ernest and Eliza Knight; brothers Bert and Bob and sister Evelyn. She is survived by her sister Violet, sister-in- law Jean and brother-in-law Harry, all in England. She is also survived by her sons Ray (Joy), Brian (Val), and Jerry (Wendy); grandchildren Amber (Duane), Vicki (Kris), Cherraine (Andrew), Charleton (Cherissa), Cory and Paul; great-grandchildren Azura, Brandon, Max, Sophie, Locke, Danielle, Jesse, Dustin, Gavin, Cameron and Trevor. Mary who grew up in Balcombe, Sussex, England met and married Arthur who was stationed there with the Canadian Forces during the Second World War. She emigrated to Canada to begin a new life, immediately after the war. Mary was a stay at home mother. Her family was her greatest joy and she was always there for her sons and later her grandchildren. After Arthur's retirement from the CNR, they made many trips for winter holidays to Mexico, along with trips to England for family visits. Mom's favourite pastime was doing her gardening and going to play bingo several times a week at the Fort Garry Legion where she was a member. Mom with her gentle and caring nature will be sadly missed by her family. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. Many thanks to the very caring staff at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre. In lieu of flowers, donation s may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or a charity of your choice. I had the privilege of meeting Mary when she moved to Riverwood Square. I got to hear all about Mary's happy life in England. Her meeting and falling in love with her husband during the war. Her coming to Canada and starting her family. I loved the time with Mary. She was Very Special and I will miss her. My prayers are with her family. I love you.
