Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY AILEEN PARKER January 23, 1922 August 1, 2013 Peacefully with family by her side Dorothy passed away on August 1, 2013 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband Victor and daughter-in-law MaryLou. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Glenn and Neil; grandchildren Kelli, Kyle, Sean and Krystina; and three great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by MaryLou's family and her friends from West Kildonan Legion Branch 30. As per Dorothy's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

Grandma was a wonderful caring person.. I will miss her quick wit and her sense of humour. My best trip with her was a float plane trip, where at 84 years old, she caught a 47.5 inch pike. I will miss her every time when we go to her favourite spots at the Whiteshell and Riding Mtn. Ever so humble, grandma never spoke of her three life-saving medals.
