Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY DRIEDGER October 7, 1936 - August 5, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Driedger on Monday, August 5, 2013. Mom is survived by her children, Marilyn (Richard), Diane (Steve), Laurie (Curt), Gordon (Pam), and Sandi (Edward); grandchildren Shawn (Ang), Lee (Alisa), Sheryl (Paul), Michael (Kristen), Matthew, Alexander, Tyler, Nick, Tori, Josh, Mika, Calin and Ian; great-grandchildren Ethan, Sara, Noah, Ryan, Payton, Hayden, Cait and Olivia. She is also survived by her sister Helen. Mom was predeceased by her husband Albert, parents Peter and Neta, sister Nettie and brother-in-law Harry. Mom was born in Steinbach, Manitoba on October 7, 1936. She lived in Gnadenthal until the age of 13. After the passing of her father, they moved to Grunthal where she met the love of her life, Albert Driedger. They married September 8, 1958 and the two journeyed together with love for 52 years. They spent many happy years camping and fishing with friends and family. Mom was also an avid gardener as well as being active in her church and community. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. The family wants to thank the staff of Greendale estates for the wonderful, loving care they showed our mother. The funeral service will take place Friday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elim Mennonite church, Grunthal, MB with viewing prior to the service. Interment will be at the Grunthal Cemetery after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Menno Home Foundation, Box 280, Grunthal, MB R0A 0R0.
