  • Dear Bruce & Jennifer, we just wanted you to know that even though it has been a few months since Scott's passing, we are still praying for you guys. We haven't forgotten about you and the hardships you must be enduring. The kids at the School of Art talk about Scott often, they miss him. Always know you are in our thoughts. - Posted by: Larry & Janet Wiebe (parents of Scott's friend Graham from Art School) on: Oct 23, 2013

  • I have heard nothing but great stories about Shiela's nephews and the fond memories shared between the families while each of your children grew up. It is so sad and incomprehensible when such a young life is lost. I lost my own brother when he was 35 and when such a profound event occurs in our lives it shakes up our lives. It gives us perspective to rethink how we live. It has reminded me to appreciate that much more my own family, siblings, parents and friends and has made me continue it with a renewed conviction to live lots and love that much more. - Posted by: Carol Anne Reese ((friend to Scott's Auntie Shiela Disanto and family)) on: Sep 30, 2013

  • Bruce, Jen & Boys, I was so deeply saddened to hear the news of your loss of Scott, just this morning. To see all the tributes and stories here of Scott is overwhelming, you have wonderful family and caring friends in your life to help you through this. I have only been blessed to get to know your family in the last year and a half, but much long enough to understand your strong faith, love and support of each other to get through this tragedy. I'm so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. - Posted by: Susan Woroniak (BreakTime Cleaning Services) () on: Aug 19, 2013

  • To the Wachal family, The loss of Scott is a tragedy felt by all those who had the pleasure and privilege of working with him. Scott was a bright, pleasant, and hard working young man. Always positive and smiling, he was an immediate member of our little family of kitchen misfits. While a little quiet at times, he always happily found a way into our shenanigans, which will never be the same without our Scotty. While we knew Scott for only a few months, his positive attitude and kind heart left a mark on each and every one of us. We love you and miss you man. Rest easy till we meet again. - Posted by: Marc Gravel (Co-worker ) on: Aug 15, 2013

  • I was fortunate enough to know Scott for a time. I would say far too short a time, as we had only been working together for perhaps a month. In that time, we became friends. I would say we would have become much better friends given the chance. I was absolutely shocked to hear the news, and I know we miss him dearly. My thoughts go out to his family, and I will be out to pay my respects tomorrow. Love to you all. - Posted by: Josh Matte (Co-Worker, Friend.) on: Aug 15, 2013
