Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • One year ago today was the saddest day that ever was... I lost the only man that ever truly loved me, my daddy. My mom lost the only man that gave her true happiness! We are sad and miss him terribly. We love you, and miss you! - Posted by: Michelle Bagg, Barbara Lord (Daughter/Wife) on: Aug 20, 2014

  • Ron lord was my dad, and I loved him more than anyone in the world! I talked to him 5-7 times everyday to tell him what was on tv or to remind him of the football games. He was the best dad a girl could ever ask for, and I feel so very lucky to have had him in my life. I'm going to miss our daily talks and laughs. I know that he will be my angel and guide me until we are together again in heaven. I love you so much daddy and I'm missing you. • I met and worked with Ron in the late 80's at a small manufacturing shop in Inkster Park in Winnipeg. Ron shared many stories about his experiences and adventures at CAE and at Saunders Aircraft. He also had many stories of his youth that kept me laughing for hours. He taught me many things about aerospace manufacturing and repair processes and many basic life lessons. I liked Ron a lot and respected him even more. Although i haven't seen him in 20 years he left an impression on me that will last a lifetime. - Posted by: Rick Porayko (Former coworker) on: Aug 24, 2013

  • Dad Will miss you but always think of you. - Posted by: Larry Lord (Son) on: Aug 24, 2013

  • I'd like to extend my condolences to you. I remember Ron as someone who really did love life. He was so fortunate to be able to spend most of it with Barb, the love of his life. We certainly had some fun times when we were neighbours and I've wondered where you guys ended up. I most certainly remember the great home you gave one of my cat's kittens. I remember his size but have forgotten his name. Maybe Ron is giving him his favourite treats right now. He will be missed but fondly remembered. - Posted by: Bev Neisteter (Former neighbour) on: Aug 24, 2013

  • Working with Ron was always interesting and never boring. He had a unique way of looking at the world and will be missed. - Posted by: Ken Kalk (Friend and co-worker) on: Aug 24, 2013
