DARLENE RAE ARCAND It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Darlene Arcand aged 71 years on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon. She is survived by her husband Gabriel, daughter Kim, son Brian, two grandchildren Brandi and Ashdyn and also survived by many family members. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. I've known Darlene all my life. I lost track of her over the years. but she ended up living kitty corner to my sister-in-law, Gladys. they have been good friends for many years. I know she hasn't spoken to her original family for many years and I felt sad for that. I hope they are notified. She was a very nice person. She helped Gladys a lot after she was diagnosed with cancer. Gladys would have been deeply saddened by her loss.
