FLORIAN WALTER PACHNIOSKY February 16, 1946 September 16, 2013 Florian grew up in Vita, MB. Just after he turned 18 he moved to Thompson to work. In 1969 he married his beloved wife of 44 years Dora. Shortly thereafter his brother encouraged him to start at INCO where he worked for 35 years before retiring in 2008. Florian enjoyed many hobbies during his retirement including his garden, flower beds, hunting and spending more time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife Dora (nee Wiebe), two daughters and their families as well as by two sisters, one brother and their families. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach on Saturday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of his life is to follow at his home. Everyone is welcome.
