Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL ANTOSHKIW It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Michael, on September 19, 2013. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Stephie and husband Allan; grandsons Scott (Susan) and Brent Phimister; sister Marinka and family in Ukraine and cousin, Stephanie Bilyj of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his wife Dora. Dad was born on September 22, 1924, in Ukraine and came to Canada in 1948. After arriving in Canada he worked for numerous mattress companies until he took ownership of Restmore Bedding along with his wife Dora. Michael was a true gentleman and was a kind, generous and loving husband, father and grandfather who worked hard all his life so that we had everything we needed. I would like to express my gratefulness to the loving and caring staff at Middlechurch Home. You were my dad's angels. Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg. A private family interment will be held on Monday. Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Private interment to follow. Further obituary in Saturday's edition.
