REBECCA TOEWS-KELLY (nee GAIL GOULET) August 2, 1961- September 4, 2013 After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved wife, daughter, mother and Nana who passed away on September 4, 2013 at the age of 52, with her husband by her side at the Ottawa General Hospital. Left to mourn and cherish her memory is her father Paul Goulet, husband of 14 years, James, and her children: Jenni-Lynn (John), Marc (Ashley), Vanessa (Bill), Stephen, Angela (David), stepson Alexander and her dog Dixie. She will be lovingly remembered and cherished by her five loving grandchildren Destiny, Kiara, Neveah, Avynn, and Aiden. Rebecca leaves behind her two brothers: Robert and Gerry, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and many dear friends. Rebecca was predeceased by her mother Evelyn, Christina, and Violet. Rebecca's will, determination, grace, and optimism strengthened her through her battle with cancer. Always thinking of others before herself, she was always ready with a word of encouragement to anyone in need. Even still supporting us and making our days comfortable, when she was the one in much deeper pain, never burdening us with her sorrows. She leaves behind an irreplaceable hole in the lives of so many loved ones. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 11:00 a.m. at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, with interment to follow at the Kleefeld Church of God in Christ Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rebecca's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. "Mom, we love you and miss you." Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030
