WILLIAM ERNEST CHASTELLAINE Peacefully on September 24, 2013 at Health Sciences Centre, William Chastellaine passed away at the age of 76 years. William leaves to mourn his passing his sisters Verna Nicolls (Rob), Shirley Dux (Adolf); brother Glen Chastellaine (Alice) brother-in-law Steve. He was predeceased by his parents Victor and Elsie Chastellaine; sisters Jean Williams and Barbara Chastellaine and brother Lester Chastellaine. In his early years Bill loved the outdoors, fishing with his dad and learning how to hunt and trap. He attended the Whytewold Beach School, lived at Matlock, MB and eventually was responsible for the CNIB Canteen at the Winnipeg General Hospital until the expansion of the Health Sciences Centre. Bill was fiercely independent. He had a great love for bingo and we acknowledge and thank the Bingo Hall on Sargent and their staff. • Sad to hear of Billy's passing. I will always remember his infectious laughter and good nature. He was always a cheerful, positive fellow and a joy to be around at family get-togethers, where he had no trouble remembering who you were, just by hearing your voice. Rest in peace, Billy. It was such a joy to know you and you will be missed. - Posted by: Robbie Bobby (cousin-in-law) on: Sep 29, 2013
