Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My deepest sympathy goes to you, Elsie, in the loss of your beloved husband and so much love and sympathy goes to Danny's brother, Dr Joe Stasiuk and his wife, Isabell, and to Hans and Diane and Andrew who have also suffered such a deep loss. What a wonderful full life and to live almost a century! Since ever I have known Isabell and Joe I have heard many many times of the Winnipeg Stasiuks. I knew of their connection with Calvary Temple and could understand their devotion to this church as I witnessed their community outreach every year when my friend, Mary Berg, and I drove down to attend Calvary Temple's wonderful Messiah which the church members generously supported with both their time and money. Thank you Elsie and Danny for - as Mary always said - beginning the Christmas season for us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. - Posted by: Margaret Wilson (friend of Joe and Isabell Stasiuk and their family) on: Oct 03, 2013

  • Our hearts are filled with sadness with the passing of Uncle Dan. He will be greatly missed by everyone. We always loved listening to his stories and he always had one or two to tell. We were also amazed at how much he was still wanting to learn. He told my daughter ELizabeth he was going to get an iphone just so he can see how it all worked. He lived a long healthy life right to the end and has been a major part of so many peoples lives. He will be missed by so many people. Lots of love and hugs to Aunty Elsie - Posted by: Debbie & Robert Tycholiz (family ) on: Sep 29, 2013

  • My Uncle Dan. He was a most kind and loving person, not only for my Aunt Elsie but everyone he touched in his life. I am sorry that he has left us, he made an impact on me even though i had not seen him in many years. Some people just provide guidance and inspiration in ones life and he was one that i will never forget. I can remember the photos from your trip to Israel, always wanted to go there after your slide show and history lessons. Ron Korotash ronkoro@me.com. - Posted by: Ron Korotash () on: Sep 28, 2013
