YVETTE DUECK It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Yvette Dueck, 73, of Steinbach, formerly of Niverville, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB. She is survived by her husband Ernest; two daughters Maria (Dan Fontaine) and Claudette (Martin Gabbs); three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five brothers: Gilbert Cure (Vicki), Phil Cure (Ethel), Paul Cure (Marianne), Fernand Cure, Denis Cure; three sisters: Armande Picton (Gus), Doris Wiebe (Henry), Rose Chubaty (Nick); as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Josephine Cure; brothers Henri, Robert and Andre; sisters Henriette Picton, Diane Bucek and Gert Encounte and two great-granddaughters, Chloe and Jessica Unrau. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach with a viewing prior to the service. Burial will be at Heritage Cemetery, Niverville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Yvette's name to the Lung Association of Manitoba, the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
