DIANE LYNN ROFFEY July 16, 1959 October 9, 2013 With the heaviest of hearts we are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Diane on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Left to forever cherish her memory is her mom Dolores, sister Cindy Sesak and brother-in-law Dave, along with her niece Kristen and nephew Erin whom she absolutely adored. According to Diane's wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, Diane would have requested a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society because of her love for animals or a charity of your choice. Diane, we love you and will miss you forever. You will finally feel no more pain.

  • I just learned of Diane's passing today. I am so saddened to hear Diane is gone. I remember the times on our mini-bikes at the lake, and Diane out-racing the RCMP with a huge grin on her face! And the times we went digging up wild plants on the tracks at the lake, with Diane driving the bike and me on the back. I hope they have a nice bike for you in Heaven, Diane. So sad that you have left us, but glad you will have no more pain. - Posted by: Tracy Young (Friend) on: Oct 30, 2013

  • I will treasure the memory my family made with Diane this past summer. She came out for a long weekend and we spent it on the deck talking, laughing and playing with the pets. Diane was a loyal friend and had a great love for the people God put in her life. I will miss her emails and phone calls and of course her hearty laugh. She did not let obstacles in life keep her down. She was inspirational and I will miss her so very much. My sympathies to her family and loved ones. - Posted by: Jennifer Dyck (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2013

  • Diane was always smiling. I worked with her at Reaching E-Quality Employment Services where she volunteered. She was a joy to be around. She kept me on my toes.. and it felt too quiet without her here. She always had a helping hand for anyone who walked through our doors. Even when she stopped volunteering she would always give me a call here at work or at home just to chat and find out what was happening. Going to miss you girl. My heart goes out to family and friends in this time of sorrow. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss our chats.. Hugs to all. Missing you much ... • I am so deeply saddened by Diane's passing. My longest friend ever of 50 years. Words cannot express the feeling of loss. We go so far back that I cannot help but remember all the fun that we had, from packing up our little bags to run away from home and only making it down the backlane a block then going back home because we were hungry. I was celebrating her life with some good ole Classic Rock and having a drink on her, and her Spirit was totally with me dancing and laughing. She was letting me know that her Spirit lives on and that she is ok, and I know that her Spirit is creating a little havoc somewhere right now and that makes me smile. She went through life sliding in sideways, just the way she wanted to and I am so grateful to have spent many years laughing and having fun with her and I am comforted knowing that she is still right here beside me. God Bless you Diane and Family. - Posted by: Barbara Sol (Dear Lifelong Friend) on: Oct 15, 2013

  • My love and prayers to Auntie Del and Cindy (and family) at this difficult time. May your memories bring you comfort, now and always. Love, Sheila - Posted by: Sheila McEntire (cousin) on: Oct 14, 2013

  • Diane was a great sister, who cared a lot for her family. I have a lot of fond memories of our lives growing up. One of the most recent was, she arranged for the women to take time to go out for lunch together. Nice afternoon, nice memory. - Posted by: Cindy Sesak (sister) on: Oct 13, 2013
