ANNA LUPTAK (nee REICHERT) May 28, 1921 October 6, 2013 Peacefully with her family at her side it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Luptak at the age of 92. Born May 28, 1921 in Berlo, MB, Anna was a great inspiration to everyone. She married the love of her life John Luptak who passed away in 1961. She was the last surviving member of her siblings. Anna was predeceased by her parents Michalina and Karl, brothers Adam, Tony, Joe, Stanley and Albert Reichert and sisters Angela Mikulik and Kay Preisler. She leaves to mourn her three children daughter Marcia, son Randy (Judy) and daughter Gwenyth; grandchildren James, Adrienne, Noreen, Terri, Douglas, Amanda and great-grandchildren Abby, Rachel, Reuben, Phoenix, Epi and Wyatt. Anna was a real country girl in her younger years growing up with her family in the Gimli area. She moved to Winnipeg with John after marriage as he started in the construction business. Anna was widowed at an early age and she lived the remainder of her years in Winnipeg. She worked for the Victorian Order of Nurses for many years. Her children and grandchildren were the world to her. She was always very caring and there for her family. Anna was famous for her delicious cooking; homemade perogies, krumber perogies, banana bread and strudel. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date with family at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. She touched everyone with special love and kindness.
