Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMY RUTH DYCK November 22, 1932 - October 28, 2013 Peacefully October 28, 2013, surrounded with family, Amy Dyck (Lemkey), aged 80 years, left for her heavenly home. Predeceased by husband Jacob, mother Tillie, and four siblings, Amy is dearly loved and remembered by daughter Sharon, son Larry (wife Kim), her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Early years of marriage and family were spent in Killarney prior to moving to Transcona in 1965, then to North Kildonan in 1970 where she spent the remainder of her life. Though small in stature, Amy was tenacious, a ready prayer intercessor, joyful singer and warm, generous host. Amy is fondly remembered for her quick wit, famous one-liners and cheery ways by friends both local and those made during winters in Yuma, AZ, and most recently, care home staff. Celebration service for Amy will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple Buntain Chapel, 440 Hargrave with viewing one hour prior to the service.
