WILLIAM MURRAY CRAIG May 10, 1934 - October 29, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on October 29, 2013 at the age of 79. Murray was born May 10, 1934 in Brandon, MB where he spent his early years. His family moved to Radium Hot Springs, BC when he was a young boy, and it was there that he acquired his love for the outdoors and his passion for the water. He served as a lifeguard at the Hot Springs pool as well as becoming a member of the University of British Columbia rowing team. It was at UBC that Murray attained his Business/Commerce degree which would be followed by 35 years in management with the CIBC. Upon retiring Murray returned to the great outdoors by becoming a hunting guide. Spending many days in the bush always guaranteed a few good stories to share with his family. He is survived by his wife Dawna; children Dean (Claudette), Cindy (Michael), Joel (Kim), Brenda (Kevin), Ken, and Steve (Andrea); and grandchildren Karli, Cash, Reilly, Luke, Haylee, Logan, Maleah and Kiana. Murray was predeceased by his parents, William and Alice, and his sister Madeline. Cremation has taken place. As per Murray's wishes, no memorial service will be held. "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die." Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030
