Her last being with EI Canada counseling special needs individuals in finding jobs. When she retired, she and Dad travelled extensively. I have fond childhood memories of Aunt Jean and Uncle Art. They used to invite me to go with their family to Aunt Harriet's cottage in the Whiteshell where I always had a wonderful time. I was too young to remember the Johnson family before they were posted to France but we saw them frequently when they returned to Winnipeg. I miss you so much, Jean. I'm happy you're free of pain but very sad you're no longer with us. - Posted by: Carroll Langtry (Niece) on: Nov 25, 2013

We did not know Jean Johnson well. She is the Great-grandmother of our grandchildren, Stella and Charlie Johnson, we had the honour of meeting her a few times at family gatherings. She was a very warm and lovely person with a great knowledge of many topics. The one topic that comes to mind, is the computer. I know all her family and many, many friends will miss her. Our deepest condolences on the loss of a great person. - Posted by: Ivy and Derek Johnson (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2013

I met Jean on Vancouver Island when she visited her son David. As she continued visiting, I came to know and love her. I visited her in Winnipeg and eventually stayed with her just prior to my mother's passing. Her positive energy was so amazing! My condolences to her whole family. - Posted by: Donna Einarsson (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2013

I had the privilege of meeting your mother at Riverview. As a volunteer I would sit and visit with her on several occasions. She truly was an amazing lady with so much accomplished in her life. I enjoyed listening to her stories of positive events in her life and how much she gave to others when help was needed. Jean always had a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face when sharing stories of her travels, helping others in other parts of the world and of her family. My deepest condolences on your loss. - Posted by: D. Thompson (Volunteer - Riverview) on: Nov 16, 2013
