WAYNE ROBERT PENNER February 14, 1936 - November 8, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, uncle and great-uncle on November 8, 2013 at the age of 77. Wayne was born on February 14, 1936 to Albert and Esther Penner at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba. Wayne will be missed and forever remembered by his brother Rodney (Sylvia), nephews Craig (Lynette), Chad (Lorisa) and Curt: great-nephew Zackary and great-nieces, Mikyla, Calla, Hailey and Eve. He will also be remembered by many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Esther Penner and his sister Julaine. Wayne worked with his brother Rodney as carpenters for many years until they started farming together. Wayne was still actively involved in the farm including this year's harvest. Wayne got to see one last harvest, which was the best year yet. Wayne was a quiet, kind-hearted man that loved spending time with his family. The great-nephew and nieces loved the endless supply of cookies and big mint candies. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Fredette, EMS and staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for your exceptional care and support. Funeral service for Wayne will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, in Greenland, Manitoba.
