Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD CLIFFORD GUNNER December 10, 1931 - November 16, 2013 With sad hearts we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Richard (Dick) Gunner on November 16, 2013 at Concordia Hospital after battling Lewy Body Dementia. He will be deeply missed by his wife Barbara, children Cathy (Harvey), Richard and Heather (Rob), grandchildren Tony (Jessica), Quinn (Cari), Angela, Jason, Caitlyn and Jamie, along with great-grandchildren Tyler, Ethan and Tobias and lifelong friend Lawrie McCaffrey. He was predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Clifford, and siblings Frank, Phyllis and Marj. Richard was born and raised in Winnipeg. He was very proud of his many accomplishments during his 38 years in a managerial position at Air Canada. His favourite pastime was driving, which included countless trips to the West Coast visiting family along the way. Richard and Barb enjoyed many loving hours together which Barb will truly miss. He always enjoyed his Mr. Big Nips and Wafer pie from Sals and could never be without his Coca-Cola. He loved to share many memories of his adventures with family and friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway; with viewing one half hour prior. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations may be made, if you wish, to a charity of your choice.

Our condolences to the family. Sorry we can't be there for the funeral. We have many fond memories of Dick from our life at AC.
