Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURA EDNA HEMMINGER (nee RACH) Laura Hemminger, aged 91 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2013 at East Gate Lodge in Beausejour, MB. Laura was born on August 17, 1922 in Thalberg, MB. She married August Hemminger, the love of her life, on September 21, 1941. Her memory will be forever cherished by her family; her daughters Sharon (Gaylord) Stewart, Gloria (Roger) Klym, and Betty Hemminger, and Carl and Linda Ramkalawan, grandchildren; Lance (Eva) Hemminger, Keith Hemminger, Tracy (Dan) Blahut, Gordon (Hope) Stewart, Heather Stewart, Tammy (Darrel) Krebs, Joey Klym and Waylon Klym, Omar, Carlin and Caleb, Cyril (June) Ramkalawan, great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn Emslie Farrell, Kiera Carde, Olivia and Abigail Stewart, Ben Blahut, Reanna and Brandon Ramkalawan, sisters-in-law Irene Rach, Marge Rach, Ethel Rach, Marion Rach and Eleanor (Roy) Fiebelkorn. She was predeceased by her beloved husband August and her sons Ervin and Rodney, as well as siblings Ernest, Robert, Alfred, Archie, Ron and Evy (Joe and Doug). Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 21 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thalberg at 2:00 p.m. Private interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thalberg Trinity Lutheran Church or to a charity of one's choice. Thank you to all the staff at East Gate Lodge, especially to the Rose Unit for their special care and kindness. Laura was a special mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was loved and will be missed very much. My condolences & prayers to your families on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandma. Mom would often tell me of the times that your Mom & mine had when she lived at Stead & then later on when my parents moved to Garson & Tyndall.
