ERIN LESLIE SCHNERCH 1982 - 2013 With great sorrow we announce the passing of Erin Leslie Schnerch. Erin was born October 5, 1982. She was caring, beautiful, intelligent, independent and strong. Growing up she enjoyed playing ringette and fastball. She was a huge Blue Bombers fan, although she had a love/hate relationship with them this year. Her passions were music, art and animals. She had a soundtrack for every occasion and created amazing artwork. She spent many years volunteering at the local animal rescue centre. Her greatest joy and comfort was her cat Lexi. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephew. She loved going for drives and the feeling of the open road. If you were lucky enough to have known her she was an amazing friend that would do anything for you. She is loved by her family and friends and will be forever missed. A service will be held on Friday November 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home, 433 Main St., Stonewall, MB. Erin will be forever missed and loved by her mum Karen (Jim), brother Chris (Joe), sister Lorelei, grandpa Alan Sheldon, father Fred and daughter Brandy. She was the best aunt ever to Courteney, Ethan, Katie and Abby. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Erin's name to D'Arcy's A.R.C. Animal Rescue Centre or a charity of one's choice. • Today would be your birthday & we would be hanging out. Probably watching scary movies & laughing at them whether we were scared or not. I miss you every single day. You are forever in my heart ❤️ - Posted by: Chris (Best friends) on: Oct 05, 2019

  • I met Erin in what seems another time, but my memories of her still resonate with a vividness and an intimacy. She knew how to make people feel special, and she unquestionably was special as a unique confidant who would not judge you--someone I think is a rare find; everyone needs to meet someone like this in their lives, a person who registers a special consideration and understanding. I miss her very dearly, and I want her family to know that there are many people out there who loved and adored her as I did. - Posted by: Kristian Enright (friend) on: Jan 11, 2015

  • She was always a ray of fun. Dad wade and i loved her humour!!!!! she will be greatly missed. I need you to know this as her family!!She would always hug daddy and I. When he was in Hospice I went to see her and the gang at Perkins. Erin gave me a balloon and drew a smiley face on it and said take it to him tell him I care!!!!! Hello this is Wade - Erin was always full of life and had a huge heart. She used a simple Batman mask that put a huge smile on Tracy and Dad's face. I did not see it and she dug it up and put it on for me. I could not stop laughing. She is now an Angel in Heaven and I know that Tracy's Father is giving her a huge hug !! We are so sorry for your loss and our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Wade and Tracy Razella - Posted by: Wade & Tracy Razella (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2013
