NELSON BIRSTON February 4, 1946 - November 14, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, wish announce the sudden passing of our father, Nelson Birston at the age of 67. Dad leaves to mourn, his daughters Charlene and Connie, sons Nelson Jr. (Jennifer) and Conrad (Stefacia), his loving wife Chantal Kalynchuk and her children Danny, and Christine. He also has 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, his sisters Joan (Dennis), Brenda, Sandra (George), Gail (Godfrey), brother Paul (Marlene), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Nelson was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Agnes, sister Janice, and brother Ken. Dad spent his whole life driving truck, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Having worked for a variety of companies, dad made many friends who will be saddened by his loss. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2013 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. with visitation one hour prior to service.   • Nelson will be missed for so many reasons, most especially the wonderful times spent out at Chesly Campgrounds each summer. A quiet friend with the biggest heart!! You left us all too soon, my friend, however you lovingly and unknowingly, left each and everyone who knew, you the greatest abundance of memories!! Thank you, Nelson!! You will be so missed!!   • We are very sorry for the loss of our friend Nelson. Nelson and Dennis worked together on the winter roads. Dennis always felt safe, knowing Nelson would always have his back. We also had the pleasure of his company at our cottage. Oh how Nelson loved to fish! It has been a pleasure knowing Nelson, he will be sadly missed.
