Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA (FRIESEN) KORNELSON (nee UNGER) Peacefully Eva Kornelson, 84, passed away at Rest Haven Nursing Home on November 19, 2013. Eva is survived by her second husband, John Kornelson; four children: Shirley Friesen, Lawrence Friesen, Del (Louise) Friesen, and Gloria Friesen; four grandchildren: Jeremy Friesen (Stephanie Raffard), Kristjan Anderson (Bonnie Timshel), Stephanie, and Kendra Friesen. She is also survived by six siblings and a large extended family. She was predeceased by her first husband, Sylvester Friesen, her parents, four sisters, and one brother in infancy. Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. at Evangelical Fellowship Church, 200 Woodhaven Ave., Steinbach. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, Steinbach with interment at St. Vital Cemetery, Winnipeg in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eva may be made to Union Gospel Mission or Mennonite Central Committee. Special thank you to Dr. Curtis Krahn and all the staff at Rest Haven Nursing Home.
