Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH EDWARD HIRST August 3, 1923 !November 26, 2013 Passed away peacefully in his sleep, in the early morning, after a brave 19 month battle to stay with us. He will be deeply missed and remembered most for his love of music and his sense of humour, both of which stayed with him until the end. At his request, there will be no funeral service. We, Ken's family, extend our utmost gratitude to the entire staff on CD3 at Riverview Health Center for their loving care of all of us and to the kind nurses and health care aides at Maples PCH who looked after Dad prior to Riverview. Donations in Ken's memory may be made to Siloam Mission, Riverview HC or the Liberal Party of Canada. Rest in peace, Dad. As you said yourself, you had a good, long life.
