LEIGHA JULIANNA CONCI May 8, 1982 - December 2, 2013 We are saddened to announce the passing of Leigha on December 2, 2013. She was born and lived in Winnipeg, MB but had many adventures around the world. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg with the Gold Medal in Chemistry. Upon graduation she worked for Viventia Bio Inc. and Cangene. She enjoyed running, swimming, camping, and reading. Her favourite adventures abroad included visiting the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, New Zealand, many locations in Europe, especially Vienna and meeting family in Italy. She was predeceased by her grandparents Otto and Elfrieda Boggs, and Aldo Conci. She is survived by her parents John and Louise Conci, siblings Sarah Eisbrenner (Nathan) and Adam Conci, grandmother Lida Conci, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We gratefully thank her surgeons and Oncologists, as well as the staff of the Palliative Care team for their kind and respectful care. Special thanks to Dr. Robin McClure for going above and beyond. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford St., Winnipeg, MB followed by interment at 3:00 p.m. at the Morris Cemetery, Morris, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leigha's memory to the Terry Fox Foundation, Unit A - 1214 Chevrier Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3T 1Y3, or online at http://www.terryfox.org
